It all began with one man, Alain Thiénot, who was originally from Reims in Champagne, and in 1985 created his eponymous Champagne house. in a matter of years, he had firmly established Champagne Thiénot among the true greats of Champagne, driven by one life motto: “one passion : wine; one imperative: excellence”. A born entrepreneur, his instincts led him to the region of Bordeaux, where he took ownership of several chateaux. His strategy was simple yet innovative: to combine the very best of viticulture and tradition from the two iconic wine regions of Bordeaux and Champagne.
